Oh man, do not sleep on this place. We went on a Sunday evening and tried the neck bones, wings, Mac and cheese, cheesy potatoes, greens, red beans and rice and onion rings. The neck bones and the red beans and rice are next level good and the corn bread was so buttery and delicious. Honestly there wasn't a bad bite of food. We also had the special house cocktail which was sweet and fruity and delicious. Check the hours before you go and come with a big appetite, we both brought at least half of our meal home and now I can look forward to having it tomorrow!
Food was good. Reminded me of my moms cooking. Only thing I didn't care for was the red beans and rice. They were too sweet. We ordered the catfish platter with Max and cheese and fries and the hot Link sandwich platter with greens/cabbage and red beans and rice. For dessert the banana pudding was fire.
I am staying down at the Hampton Inn Gateway Park on business and turned to Yelp for recommendation as usual. Danny's chipotle Applebees Montana steak. Come on man I want something different. Well I spy C and M Creole soul food I am in. One review though. Oh well I call and am greeted by a friendly voice and am like yeah let's do this. Well, man greaaaaat food. Chicken wing amazing! Mac and cheese delicious! Stuffing and gravy yes I will have me some of that. Oh you like dessert? Have some peach cobbler why don't u. Hey by the way enjoy some pound cake. Welp what can I say?... Just absolutely delicious. I am a super picky eater. I mean to the max. C&M for a moment I felt like I was having dinner with my grandma! Thank you for actually having soul in your food! I will definitely be ordering again. I already know what I want to order next time
